year end post

Boy has it been a year. I know that most bloggers are going to a year end summery... well i am not most bloggers, am I? So just to touch on a few milestones... good and bad. The good. Both of my boys completely potty trained and talking (took long enough!) and working on my daughter. Um. Learned tatting, gained a great community of people, learned bobbin lace, watched a million and two movies (not really), tried tons and tons of new things, helped a great deal of people, on and offline. The bad, loads of arguments, stress, lost people who i thought were friends, threw away a ton of stuff. Been sicker than i think i ever have in my life...i have been so darn sick this year... as a matter of fact i am, and my whole family is, sick... lucky though that its going away... hopefully it will give me a break, cause this crap is taking so much out of me. OK. I think that is all of that...so yeah, great christmas, hopefully a great new year... See y'all then!

Late Late Sunday

Have a great holiday!
We will be off on the 26th.
We will return to our thieving ways
on January 2, 2011.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
from Bud & Judd

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing. Sunday Stealing originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard of the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we also have our rules. First, we always credit the blog that we stole it from and we will “fess up” to the blog owner where we stole the meme. We also provide a link to the victim's post. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") We do sometimes edit the original meme, usually to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, sometimes to select that meme's best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from either this new meme or recently asked questions from a prior featured meme. Let's go!

Today we ripped this meme off a blogger named CV Rick from the blog named Ninja Writer. It's 50 questions so we will do it in two parts. He stated that he grabbed it from Wry Catcher. But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing!

Sunday Stealing: The Ninja Meme, Part Two

Cheers to all of us thieves!

Watching Sonic the headghog and Bloggin....fun fun

Alright... the rest of my family is coming over right now so i figured i would blog real quick...

Personal: my fam is coming over and i am super duper DUPER excited...we are going to have christmas early with them and then christmas later with just ourselves...Since i know that my sister doesn't read my blog... i got her two tattoo books! her friend Tori got her tattoo filled in and i am getting her tattoo books... can you tell where her heart lies? She is going to love one especially because it goes through the techniques and the Whys and other really cool stuff... also information on how to get INTO tattooing... shes going to love it... Also yesterday I went to a potluck... boy oh boy it was great. everyone who came actually brought something... Halloween it wasn't like that... but it was great. ok. so on Facebook, i got friend requests from my cousin and Aunt...I haven't talked to my aunt in years.. and my cousin even longer... I sent some lace to my aunt.... so unfortunately i dont have that lace to show off... and i wasn't quite on mind to scan it... which brings me to BOBBIN LACE!
Bobbin lace:
most recent project...
they are called SPIDERS...I was telling my sister that my head was exploded during this pattern... and it was... First off it had 13 pair... more than i had ever used... which is pathetic considering i have seen a photo of someone working 500 PAIRS! craziness...So 13 pairs... the spiders itself is really simple... the sides are also something i know... the head exploding thing, was trying to remember how to tie the sides and the spiders together...To be honest i probably won't attempt this pattern again...see lucky for me (my excuse for such a tiny piece) the thread broke and i have no idea how to fix or replace a broken thread...darn ;).

Tatting: Have not done a darn thing... i was making "posy" on the bus but for some reason it looked really crappy... that made me sad...

SO that's about it... really... i mean i could go into how icky i have felt, but it is really boring.

1 week till Christmas... so happy.

Happy Merry Christmas Peoples!!!

Enough with the UCK!

BEHOLD!
My bobbin lace! LACE Y'ALL! Actual lace. I love bobbin lace.
On the left is A "baby heather" pattern out of Lessons in Bobbin Lacemaking. (I totally recommend this book!)In real life it is an off white color and is nice, but twists. On the right is my favorite...on that note i am going to say that the heather edging was my favorite until i made the right side...just sayin'. So the right side pattern is also out of the same book... its called net stitch edging. it is my favorite. its very nice, sturdy, pretty, its done in white and has a bit of a curve to it... If anyone can explain this to me, please do!

Also i discovered a couple more things... One: I like my homemade bobbins better than the ones i bought...Two: I like my non-moving bobbins better than the ones that the beads move...Three: even though i like the non moving ones better, it is MUCH easier winding the bobbins with the moving beads.

Learning something new is so much fun... which is why i need the physical book to do so... I flip back and forth, and use post its... Its so exciting.

On the tatting front, there has been very little... I made some of Mary Koniors "onion skins" edging, while doing laundry the last time...but i don't have a picture. I made three STUMPY's in pink... two of them are going to be earrings...i just have to hide the ends of one...So tragic...i missed the large ring at the end on one, then didn't join the last picot on another and so on the third i tatted EXTREMELY slowly...it came out ok, just really tightly tatted...Hey i should come up with a tatting tongue twister...let's see

ok a little one...Tatting tightly is tough... ok that sucked...

WARNING: sick post...graphic, gross. No tatting

Boy oh Boy! this last week or so has been so hard...WARNING GRAPHIC LANGUAGE BELOW!

For this saga i need to go all the way back to thanksgiving-ish... Anthony worked that Friday, was major sick...had to take the next day off of work (yes it was that damn bad), wound up getting every one in the house sick... luckily it didn't transfer to my sister's family... two days after Anthony was feeling better, Atreyu sat on the toilet and gave us insight on how sick HE was feeling, luckily Anthony was sitting right there... ready to not do ANYTHING... i had to clean up the puke...not fair... so that started upset my stomach, that night he slept on the couch...

Needless to say Anthony had to work this night...He left for work and the kids went to bed... i did the midnight potty and moments later i heard it...Az puking, poor boy running for the toilet...which is beyond me because he had never threw up, there for had no experience... but he ran for the toilet anyway... so here we are at midnight...I now put Az on the couch and there would be no more throw up that night... The next day was a test of everything i am made of... everything. Woke up really ill. All day ill...the waters ill...so there's that, plus me tossing my stomach, and headache... awesome day.. right? Anthony has to work again...I set Az up on the couch again because at the bed time bathroom run, he puked...again...So yeah. Ana said that her tummy was ick, so she was on the floor...Midnight run nothing... 3 AM, Ana got sick. We had no more blankets so i stayed up with her for the rest of the night... 6:30 am i finally get to pass out in bed

Enter the jerkiness... Mind you right now i am severely ill. sleep deprived, smelly... I told Anthony that he needs to step up and let me sleep and get better... three hours later he is complaining that he is tired...at this point with the three hours... i have had a total of 5 hours of sleep over the last 2 days. And he is complaining to ME...Needless to say i laid into him... When i get up he goes off to bed, knowing that there are dishes in the sink, crap on the floor, pukey blankets that need to be washed and kids to be watched, and that i am still sick...There is no love there...none. So sick i have to go do laundry, and cook dinner and make lunch and let the kids play outside...i love being a mom sometimes... not!

But no one has thrown up in days, and i am feeling much better...much better and i am so darn happy about it...

Something else i am happy about is after all that drama and crap... i finally got to do some bobbin lace...I really haven't been in the mood to tat, but at least i know what project i am going to do next :).

A few things that have happened since also is my niece turned 2. She has been on this earth for 2 years and i can't wait to see the rest of them... boy i love that chipmunk...On facebook my cousin DeeAnn and Aunt Diane both friended me. Its so weird you know... i haven't actually talked to my cousin in over, shoot, must be 10 years... and my aunt in almost the same...How can you be family and not know each other... I asked myself this question a few times this last week... Like, i know my sister, but i am still learning brand new things about her...I was trying to buy my grama a present for Christmas and it dawned on me that i don't know anything about her, at all!

Why do we let our friends closer than our family? So while my sister was here we talked, we shared secrets and I am so thankful that my sister isn't just my sister... she is actually a better friend than a sister. i love that. But it's so weird that there are so many things that i don't know about her... Ok... so i am going to head off and watch the rest of Grey's anatomy...Night night

The MANTIS DANCE

Behold the Mantis dance... The first part is the dance and the second part is my son woo hoo-ing to the song...Not actually tatting relevant... just cute...

As far as tatting my want have finally lessened... it has actually been like a week since i have actually tatted with a shuttle and 2 days since last needle tatting...I just feel so...blah...so gray. I finally got my bobbin lace book...wow oh wow. I love how it is set up and the author is excellent... sometimes you get authors who don't fully explain stuffs and don't adequately describe things, and just kinda drop you off, expecting that you already know something. She doesn't, she walks you through even the tiniest direction, explains how and why you need to know something and its just a really good book...So...here is the picture of my homemade bobbins...

I like them quite a bit... what you don't see are the full length ones with beads going all the way up the handle...they are so pretty...So...my first attempt at bobbin lace was dismal...(see previous post here) I was about to give up because i thought that it should be more stable... I was right. I got my book and started reading yesterday...And instead of trying to make my own prickings, i copied it right out of the book...(new printer/scanner) and attempted again... the difference is startling... it is very stable! I still have to work on tension. So far i have worked the cloth stitch over a length...and then an easy edging with cloth stitch , then an open work pattern, then half stitch ground... pictures later...I'm going to tell you right now that the open work didn't work for me... but i am going to do that pattern again until it looks like the picture... i think i need to enlarge it a bit...

I am almost done Christmas shopping... I love online! Which is funny because i have a present for almost everyone, except the males of the females in my life...excluding my sons...Any ideas? I thought maybe a shirt...i don't know...

Anavays Birthday story...very long

My daughter, Anavay. It will have been three years tomorrow, since she was born. I remember that day extremely well. It was so chalked full of emotion. First of all, from midnight, i could not eat or drink till the doctor said it was ok... 'cause i was having a c-section...So I was very hungry...and my darn sister had brought me a damn brownie cheesecake, that i couldn't EAT...lol. I woke up and had to wait about an hour and a half before we (me and Anthony) had to leave... that meant me stewing and crying for that time...Mind you that my other two babies are a year and a half and the cutest babies... i had never been away from them for more than a day, at that time. So i was heartbroken...not to mention the pregnancy hormones. So we get our goodbyes... and for y'all wondering who was going to watch the babies... they were with responsible, caring people...So me and Anthony get on the bus. My mom lived down the street from the friends that were caring for my babies...she told me that she was going to meet us at the friends, then she said that she would just meet me on the bus. I was waiting and waiting, she never showed. I cried all the way, in public, big tears. It still hurts to think of it... but we get to the hospital. Poor Anthony is trying his hardest to make me feel better. I feel so very bad for him, because there was nothing he could do, so on top of being hungry, hormonal, baby-sick, and very sad and disappointed, I felt guilty, guilty that i was making Anthony miserable, and this was supposed to be so happy...

We check in and we wait in the waiting room. About an hour goes by and they call us up to go to prep...right before we go in I see anthony's mom, step dad, and sister coming down the hall.. AGAIN i cried. i was so happy, someone was there...someone...Then again saddened because they needed to get back to work and school. My heart was so happy i think it exploded. My surgery got pushed back to 4pm. So from 2 to 4 i had Anthony checking for my mom...she never showed. I went in for Ana. They started at 4:05 a few short minutes later, I got to see the little hellion that made me miserable for 8 and a half months...every single minute of it too...lol. She cried and Anthony held her to me for as long as he could. They took her and did all the usuals...The funnest part came after the surgery. I was still very hungry, so i tried rushing getting thought the rest of the anesthesia... in the process, i made myself throw up...a lot...after an abdominal surgery...NOT A GOOD IDEA.

So my sweet boyfriend taped it...I go out and i was tossing my stomach acid, there is anthonys blessed family...watching me toss. Anthonys mom was crying she was so happy and i was woozy...again my mom wasn't there...About an hour later they took me to my room...This is where anthonys dad and grandma tony meets us... of course i am in the middle of trying to breast feed...totally lol. So i hand over the ana (who isn't named yet), who isn't interested in my boobie (yet!) And in walks my mom. she stays only a few minutes and I get to be sad....again. Later that night, we decide on ANAVAY. For almost the first day she didn't want to eat. But i kept trying, and trying, i was bound and determined to breast feed her. I had tried to breast feed my boys but that didn't work... so i was really determined. My friends brung my babies to me everyday that i was in the hospital. My poor baby Atreyu was deathly afraid... i feel so bad for him. but by the last day he was OK with it...Then i was to spend another day at my friends house before returning to my own apartment.

So much has happened since then...too much to go into right now... But her are the ups... her smile, her sleep face, her sweet voice, her tolerance to her brothers, her superior hugs, and her obsession with the letter T.

counting.

just a quick word... this morning i was picking my snowflakes up and my son Azriel said he wanted to count them... and he did...without any help, no eyebrows.. nothing. Just all by himself... i was flabbergasted...just to say the least.

Tons of fun..

oK Ok. first things first...crafts! this particular picture is a bit of puncetto. As you can CLEARLY see, i am not all that great at it, but i am not going to say i am awful... just because this is like my 1st piece trying the little windows and my third time at puncetto lace period... so yeah, not great but not total muck! IF you are interested in puncetto lace then i am going to put a couple links on here so you can start.

Puncetto - Needlelace talk

This is my very, very first piece of bobbin lace. For all those critics out there...I know, i swear i know that bobbin lace is usually with fine, fine thread, and closer together... I know! I am just practicing the movements... i kinda like it...kinda. I have already made my bobbins and ordered some off of amazon.com...my bobbins that i made, were made of cooking skewers, the bamboo kind, cut in half. Then I used pony beads... now luckily they fit... but i used some hot glue on the beads to keep them in place... I love them, so very much...but not because they are cool looking or what not...no! its because my kids (mainly Atreyu) strung them...It was a nice day...picture of all the "bobbins" later..cause i made a ton-ish!
Onto tatting, my love. See i used to love knitting, but tatting is my love...truly! Anyway...This is a great snowflake from "Tatting For Today" On Intatters, Frivole posted a beautiful picture of her recent works...of course I had to like the longest, most finicky snowflake... anyway the picture prompted me to order the book and ordering the book prompted me to tat this particular snowflake... Personally, I say not even close to good, but being the wonderful people tatters are they will say "oh its so pretty...good job" but i know that it is FAR FAR away from any of my best...but here it is anyway... So from tatting to another craft...

CROCHET!!! Once a year for the past couple years, i have been either making slippers, or socks for my wee ones... this year is crocheted moccasins, I only got a picture of Anavays' slippers...Azriels were also a variegated color... dark green, beige and purple....Atreyus are bright blue...I love my baby boys dance... I just have to edit the video to the dance part...i love love his mantis dance, I call it the mantis dance, because the way he looks while doing it reminds me of a mantis...next post...it'll be great!

Then the mess i call mine. No actual substance here, I just wanted to show you guys some craft mess...
Now on to personal stuffs... This is me, through my daughters eyes...Did i mention that i am absolutely in love with her...She bugs the hell out of me, but i could literally kill her by how much i love her... So i have to watch how hard i hug her...Do you think that she feels my love... I know when I was little I would try my hardest to pour every ounce of my love for my mom into my hugs... I miss that...So anyway...
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE her...and this picture is a partial of why. Her wacky fashion sense, her turtle smile (doesn't she look kinda like a little turtle?) Her special sparkle eyes...and one of the most important features... her tolerance to her brothers...this picture was taken AFTER Atreyu had been bugging her for like an hour trying to get the bow off her head to play with her hair...But like i said, she bugs me. All day... I am fat, and being such i have fatty arms... she loves to play with them, and she likes to pinch them...its her comfort..I hate it, but i understand that its her comfort and happy place so i deal...and then the night comes...she likes to sleep with me...I like to make sure she's alive... so both combined equals a bad nights sleep for me...actually pretty much no sleep...
As I type right now she is on her daddy... oh no she found me.. and she is back on me...ok i think i ought to wrap this up... But real quick...I went to see Harry Potter with Anthony today... or tomorrow... in relation to when this actually gets posted... IT WAS AWESOME...I am very critical of the harry potter movies because i am a huge fan of the books...I was getting irritated by the missing of small parts, and incorrect parts, and I still say out of movies 3,4,5,6 and 7pt1 that this one was the best by far... I found for the most part they kept to the book... Something that really irritated me is Dobby's death.. every time i read it, hear it, think about it, I cry. This was an issue for me because, honestly who wants to cry in a movie theater..not me.. but i just let it flow...little did i know that Harry would ruin it for me...Part of the reason i was so saddened by this, was Harry's reaction to his death, it was true and raw...in the book...in the movie it was so darn... robotic...The scene goes like this...

Dobby dies, harry is in shock, he states...i have to dig a grave for him...without magic. This is what ruined it for me. Because in the book, he just does it. He is in complete shock and mourning. he does it without thinking... the males around harry help him, noticing his grief, noticing the respect...they just didn't convey that in the movie... If i could change one and only one part, it would be that...oh look at that she's asleep... Oh well Imma get off for now...happy tatting!!!

thrift store finds!

I love, love , love thrift stores! When i was younger i used to call then junk stores, I had no idea all the great things that were in store for me. lately i go to thrift town over by where i live. Every time i go there its nice, i wish that their store was bigger but its always clean. So my reasons of late for going is jeans. Boy jeans. You always hear that kids grow like weeds, that they are always running through clothes and shoes... and so on... but you really don't know until you feel like you are buying clothes every week. so i have been using the thrift store for some time... a lot of the time i can't find jeans at my thrift store, when i do find stuff their size i get super happy.

So in my happiness here is a picture of the two, that's right i said TWO, pairs of jeans i found in their size...
here are some more of my finds... thread, i got this bag because of the front three threads, the rose color, the green variegated and that purple, i suspect its lizbeth... though i have no tried it before... it is TINY... i suspect its size 40...
does anyone know what to do with these? they are for knitting but i don't know what i would knit with them, they are kinda wavy like? but not really boucle
and i am always on the hunt for books, craft books, kid books... And so i found these..2 I spys and a Dr.Seuss AND 2 workbaskets and a little doily book with, count them, 1 tatting pattern...just one.
this is the aftermath of Halloween... vampire children... Now i don't know about you but i would be seriously scared if he was actually chasing me...i would be frightened...
and an update on my basil... i think i added too many seeds... i don't know... this is my first plant. Do you see it? The large leaves in front... I went to check on them this morning and WOW. so we have another pot and we...oh who are we kidding...ME, I put my basil in the larger pot... now hopefully they will grow much more...

So I put a few new videos on my youtube, y'all should go check them out. Switching shuttles, Tattabuggs tatted owl, and some block tatting. Next post should be showing all my current tatting.... been busy tatting snowflakes because i want to hang them from my ceiling... not my tree. I want it to be nice and holiday-y in here...So till then...TA TA

Saturday 9 meme...because i can :)

Just What I Needed

Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!

Saturday 9: Just What I Needed

1. Who was the last person who entered your life and was just what you needed? I guess that would be my daughter, she's great

2. What is one of your fondest childhood memories? my bedroom. it was exactly me, I had a homemade canopy (pink) a gold vanity, a lovely desk, my own stereo and a darker pink rug that was all mine, a dresser that fit every piece of my clothing, plenty of books in my closet, everything was absolutely perfect, and i dearly miss that room.

3. What would you like to be doing in 7 years? probably fighting with my kids to be doing their homework... probably working a great job...i don't know

4. Tell us about a blogging pet peeve. the thing that bothers me is bloggers complaining about no one giving them comments.... that is so... annoying!

5. Tell us about a general pet peeve. no common sense. i have no patience for something that someone should already know...like a certain 26 year old not washing his nasty hands after being in the bathroom...eww!

6. For one day, who would you like to trade places with? i think i would like to trade places with...hmm. i don't know. bill gates?

7. Where is your least favorite place to be? out!

8. What do you like about fall? there isn't a whole lot that i don't like about fall... i pretty much love everything about it.

9. If you or someone you know are chronically late, do you believe it's the result of poor planning or choosing to be late? i guess procrastination. so poor planning? If i was constantly late, then that means i was detained by the bathroom or a bus... i usually plan on being 15 to 30 minutes early everywhere. I always want to put my best foot forward...you know things like that

Thanks so much for joining us again at Saturday: 9. As always, feel free to come back, see who has participated and comment on their posts. In fact sometimes, if you want to read & comment on everyone's responses, you might want to check back again tomorrow. But it is not a rule. We haven’t any rules here. Join us on next Saturday for another version of Saturday: 9, "Just A Silly Meme on a Saturday!" Enjoy your weekend!

Halloween 2010

The only picture i got from halloween...
The ghost is my son Atreyu, the witch knight is Azriel, Ana is the evil devil and that sweety pie on the end there is my niece.

I have something to confess. I am jealous of my son Atreyu... I have always always wanted to be a generic ghost... ALWAYS! I kinda borrowed his costume for a moment.... My life dream came true....This really was one of the happiest moments of my life. The only thing that could have made it any better is having the rest of my family in generic ghost dress... that would have been so fliggin Awesome.

Does anyone remember way back in the 90's when McDonalds did the Halloween pail for Halloween and the happy meal toy was a music cassette... yeah i said it so what... it wasn't that long ago. Any way on my cassette was a particular song... Putt Putt chug chug clank clank squeak rattle bump crash arruga. And its about a car race... it is my special memory about Halloween...cause i killed that cassette....listened to it too many times... if anyone else knows this song then you know how addictive it is... except for parents at the time...who hated it...lol. ok so that's it.

Today we ripped this meme of a blogger known as Wayfarer at Wayfarer's Journal. Wayfarer doesn't explain if he wrote it or stole it. But if he did, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing!

Cheers to all of us thieves!

not relevant to tatting... beware

Not really relevant to tatting or emotions but enjoyable none the less.

I'm So Proud

Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!

Saturday 9: I'm So Proud

1. What are you proud of? my kids for one and another is my ability to comprehend...

2. What is the best thing you’ve ever won as a prize? How did you win it? i don't remember the best but i know the most recent 2...one is my tatting. i won this summer on intatters and i received thread, a needle and to put my needles in...the next prize i remember is my freaky Frieda that i won off of fishing and wishing.

3. Tell us about something you've done that in retrospect was a waste of time. cleaning my kids room !!!!

4. How old were you when life changed the most for you? How did it change? well there was the birth of my kids... that was pretty life changing...

5. Tell us about a place you that you've been that you considered to be very tranquil. i used to have my room set up when i was younger... like 13 i think... and it was the best place to be... my favorite place.. everything was perfect and how i wanted it exactly... i think i was the most tranquil there

6. Who is your favorite news anchor/reporter? Why? my favorite is Maryanne McCleary. she is on Good Day Sacramento. i have loved her since i was in the ninth grade.

7. If you were to have the opportunity to name a new town or city, what would you call it? Why? I have 2 names here... one is Mootopia because i just love those commercials... the other name i would love is Tatterly... the center of the tatting universe... pictures of antique shuttles would adorn every wall (along with pictures of young family members...kids and grandkids)
8. What is something about which you've always wondered but have not yet found a good answer? i want to know why people choose to be a jerk...having the opportunity to not be one but choosing the jerk route.

9. When you can't go to sleep, what is your personal remedy to help yourself drift into Lullabyland? i usually think about tatting... making the individual stitches...if my thoughts are disturbing then i usually chant that whatever bad i am thinking about is not really going to happen...that its all in my head.

Tatting in movies and mad skills.

SO this morning my kids were asking me for pumpkin head... i have no clue about this but i know theirs is NOT MY understaning of pumpkin head...So i thought that they might be in a haloween type of mood...So i put on the cartoon sleepy hollow...the adventures of Ichabod and mr. toad, Anthony noticed something very weird...enter in....TATTING!!!!!!!!

So weird though... its not listed under Tuesday!?

I also wanted to share a video of my oldest (Azriel) cutting an apple.
The situation...:
2 apples...
3 kids wanting apples...

Enter in my son...with his amazing problem solving skills. Without being told he goes to the kitchen and grabs a butter knife. (also being safe) he starts cutting (in his hand...not so safe) and my daughters reaction to getting only a half of an apple. And my super hot security guard boyfriend...(hey i'm trying here)... also its night so it means that my camera looks super crappy...enjoy!

Also later tonight (after the kids go to bed) i have a video addressing the "shoelace trick"

Me, Me, Me...I,I,I

in the spirit of Halloween i broke out my walmart Halloween shirt...the neck was really uncomfortable and so i cut... a little too much...but its ok...its just for the house so doesn't matter all that much.

as you also see, i am quite...big... but some good news... Thursday i found out i lost 11 pounds since my last appointment... which was three months ago...it may seem a little but a little is a lot better than gaining. Sometimes i don't like my weight, but when i am feeling feisty... like today... i love me. All my life I hadn't been twig thin... i don't aspire to be thin at all. I would love to be around 230 pounds... i think that would be a good weight for me. I would still be fat but small enough to not be completely condemned by society..lol. its really not that bad...but people make assumptions. For example...my nurse. she is a really really nice woman. She has been weighing me for the last four years... this time when she announced my weight she says OH you lost 11 pounds...what have you been doing... my answer...eating more!. And i have been. usually i don't eat until the later part of the day and usually its just dinner. But i have been comforting myself and saying "pluck this" just not really caring what i have been eating...apparently my body likes that... but she was so surprised that the answer was eating more, because people think that fat people plain just eat too much... they don't realize that a lot of fat people don't eat nearly as much as they think...also the case with my mom...for years i saw her barely eat (where i get it) and when she started eating more she started loosing weight. people just didn't believe it... but i think that i will continue to do this... just try not to over do it...or else i am going backwards...right? lol.

here is my basil...it sure is perty!

and finally my niece-y-poo....Miracle...or simply Mira... I miss her too much. as you see she is just too cuddly. I can't wait for Halloween...my sister and her small family is coming over... so fliggin excited...

onwards and upwards!

ok. so i am in the mood for some sharing....tatting sharing and kid sharing...first up is my tatted necklace. it was made from the merry-go-round edging out of one of my tatting books. I am not sure of the thread, but the closure is a snap closure...i also used on on my green bracelet...below...

this is the green bracelet. it was tatted with i believe knit cro-sheen or something like that... but yeah it is this pattern. but i believe you need to be a member of NSAN to access it. i like it a lot...a lot a lot.

this is my work that i did on the bus today...i hate, i hate the motif... everything was giving me a problem...but there that pattern is again...told you i love it.
then this is my wonderful family. planting their bean plants...and my basil...shown below...so excited... i am growing something that i am actually going to use... bizarre.
see my baby basil!

on to bragging...my little weirdo... ATREYU. he has been acting so...so....weird lately...to think of it all my kids are acting weird... Anavay and Azriel are being ultra clingy... it makes me feel as if they feel as they are going to loose me. that makes me sad...but i am ultra happy at all of the hugs and kisses. because i know in a small time they are going to not want to hug their mommy...so i am lapping it up right not.
this is my little artist... Az. see how proud of his sun he is...i love all of his drawings...
and Anavay...looking so darn cute! i cannot wait for her to stop being so ooooo cute. some times it makes me angry...because she tries to use it when shes in trouble...ok so thats the end of my blog today...i am so happy that i am in a better mood...cause that was just...annoying being that sad.
